Spirit, Judgment, Sin & Victory

We look at the last four of the eight visions today. I have given four words to summarize each vision.

I. Only God's Spirit will enable His people to accomplish His work (Ch. 4). (4:6)
II. God will render His judgment on the sins of His people (5:1-4).
III. God will remove sin from His people (5:5-11).
IV. God will have victory over His people's enemies (Ch. 6).
ERGO

•We learn that God's purpose will be accomplished; it was promised to them and it came to fulfillment in Christ.

•We learn God hates sin; that has not changed over time and only through His Son can it be removed.

•We learn He is the one building His Temple by His Spirit and not by might or by power. Let us trust Him and pray!

•Lastly, since God will definitely find out sin and destroy sinners, take refuge in Christ, repent before it is too late!
