The Offering of Firstfruits

We celebrate the victory of our Lord over death every Lord's Day. We note that time is measured by the date of our Lord's death and resurrection.

We look at what this offering was and how the word firstfruits appears not only in the Old Testament but also the new. God is concerned with even the little details of our worship. We see Christ in this as we note the "green heads of grain", "roasted in fire", etc. We also look at how this also refers to our own resurrection.
