The Desperate Need for Wisdom

What subject could be better suited to our day than this week’s topic on “Encounter God’s Truth”? Dr. John Whitcomb’s message, from Daniel 5, is called, “The Desperate Need for Wisdom.”
People search for wisdom in all kinds of places, but our teacher encourages us to seek Godly wisdom from the Scriptures—even as Daniel received the revelation by which he would be able to answer the king.
This message is an important part of our new series, “Daniel the Prophet—Triumph in Exile.”
Following the lesson, host Wayne Shepherd asks our speaker why God communicated with Belshazzar, the king of this pagan empire, instead of merely allowing judgment to fall on him and his kingdom.
