God was working by His Holy Spirit through the local Church at Antioch to send forth missionaries.

Look at what the Church at Antioch was doing.

Antioch was a TEACHING Church (Acts 13.1)

Antioch was a MINISTERING Church. (Acts 13.2)

Antioch was a FASTING CHURCH V2.

Antioch was a SPIRIT DIRECTED CHURCH

Antioch was a PRAYING CHURCH v 3

Antioch was a SENDING and evangelizing CHURCH v3

I need to say that every local Church should be a Teaching, a Ministering, Praying, Sending, Evangelizing, Equipping and Spirit directed Church.

THE CHURCH IS A RESCUE STATION AND NOT A SOCIAL CLUB.
