A Life To Be Desired

At the end of his life, Paul had the desire to see Timothy one last time. This desire was born out of three great characteristics that made Timothy's life a joy to Paul and made his life one to be desired and emulated by other saints:

• Timothy was a gracious son to Paul (v2 - "my dearly beloved son")
• Timothy had a great heart ("v4 - being mindful of thy tears")
• Timothy had a genuine faith ("v5 - When I call to remembrance the unfeigned faith that is in thee")
