Diligent Disciples - Lesson 9 - Add to Godliness Brotherly Kindness. It is often stated that as followers of Christ we are supposed to love everyone but that does not mean we have to like them! However, when we examine the Scriptures we find that especially within the Body of Christ we are to have a right perspective of God (Godliness) that produces a right view of others (Brotherly Love). As we fellowship with one another we are to be affectionate, caring, courteous, and kind....to everyone. How is this possible? Only through the power of the Spirit applying the Word of God to our daily lives.
