WHY would He want to send His Son to save us? Why would Christ become a Man and suffer all the aggravation, humiliation, persecution, rejection—and then be crucified for us?
Verse 7 … So that in the ages that are coming… God might show (demonstrate or display) His GRACE and His kindness…
It's sad, that so many people who say they are Christians have such a shallow, man-centered perspective of what salvation is all about… The real goal of salvation is not just to get us to heaven… it's to get glory for God! SALVATION is not really about us—it's about God and His glory! – 1:5-6, 11-12,14.
