The Spirit of Glory

The Spirit confirms in our hearts again and again, in our lowest and most trying times that we belong to Christ and that Christ is bringing us home to share His glory. The Spirit of glory and of God is especially present to those who share the sufferings of Christ in order to strengthen, bless and give them a foretaste of the glory to come. Those who are sealed by the Spirit, who have received the Spirit as a down payment, who have tasted of the first fruits of the Spirit, can be assured that they are the people of God with an eternal destiny even when, for a season, their faith seems frail and weak.
