1. In which respect was the church in Jerusalem divided?
2. What is the ‘traditional’ description of the problem in Jerusalem? How do we normally think of ‘widows’?
3. But what does the New Testament teach us about widows? And what (related) problem do we run into
   today, in our churches?
   Point 2:
4. How might our consistory deal with this kind of a problem? But what does our text teach us?
5. What is the task of deacons? Writing checks? What does the Form for Ordination of Deacons say?
6. How would the task of deacons have changed (a) since the days of our text; (b) in the past 60 years?

7. How is ‘the Word of God’ characterized in Acts? And what is the church in Acts being compared to?
