Israel's Failure to Trust and Obey God and Enter the Land of Canaan

Remarkable passage that records the account of the 12 spies entering the promised land and the majority responding in utter disbelief to God. They convinced the multitude of the people to doubt and fear. In spite of Joshua and Caleb's bold faith the nation of Israel rejects the promise and plan of God to care for and bring them into "a land flowing with milk and honey."

In the end, they reject, Moses and Aaron and God. The result is they are rejected... and but for Moses' entreaty and God's Mercy would have come to and end right then and there.
