Christ's Death as Preached by the Early Church

"God was in Christ reconciling the world unto Himself." We need to preach much about the sacrificial death of the Son of God — but let us preach it with the proper emphasis, and nowhere can we come to a better understanding than in the New Testament.

Let us preach the death of our Saviour in the same way as the New Testament apostles, preachers and teachers — by placing the emphasis on WHO IT IS THAT DIED, and WHAT HE INFALLIBLY ACCOMPLISHED that would enable God to receive sinners such as you and me into His fellowship.
