The best reason for joy in serving Christ is your salvation, not your ministry success.

MINISTRY SUCCESS IS JOYFUL (10.17-19)

1. The Messengers Exulted in Ministry Success (10.17). They were amazed how God had used them. They experienced more than power over demons. They only experienced this joy after working in the ministry.
2. The Lord Confirmed Their Joy in Ministry Success. This was the beginning of ultimate conquest, the exercise of ultimate power, and protection from ultimate harm.

YOUR SALVATION SHOULD BE EVEN MORE JOYFUL (10.20).

1. Jesus Requires Greater Joy in Your Salvation. The saying is a hyperbolic contrast.
