THE BIBLE'S STORY BEGINS WITH CREATION Pt. 2
4¶ This is the history of the heavens and the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens,
5 before any plant of the field was in the earth and before any herb of the field had grown. For the LORD God had not caused it to rain on the earth, and there was no man to till the ground;
6 but a mist went up from the earth and watered the whole face of the ground.
7 ¶ And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being. Genesis 2:4-7

This Lord's Day Pastor Randy continues a Reformation Day series on The Basics of Bible History, or THE BIBLE'S STORY, a survey of the major events that shape our understanding of the Scriptures and the world in which we live! All of history, both within the pages of Scriptures (and without) fits into this unfolding story of Redemption and are on the way to the final conclusion of God's purpose and plan.

Today we continue studying Genesis 1 and 2: "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth." The fact of God's creation shapes how we see ourselves and everything in the world. If you believe Genesis 1:1 you are set to believe every other words and verse in the Scriptures.

HOWEVER, if you doubt, question or disbelieve Genesis 1:1, you will most likely doubt, question and disbelieve the rest of Scripture. Genesis 1 is the foundation on which the rest of Scripture depends. Trust the only Eye Witness.
