Eternal LIFE

There is a movement out there that is limiting God's grace and falsely teaching that you can lose your salvation. If it were possible to lose your salvation than some part of it must have been dependent on you. Should that be the case than why did Jesus have to die on the cross, why not just have anyone who was willing go to the cross instead and open our eyes in Heaven? Eternal life is just that ETERNAL, it is not going away. It is not based on us but on Jesus and His work on the cross.
