Defund Police? Or Defund Liberal Public Universities?

Despite all the riots, the "police violence," actually violent crime has dropped substantially since 1990. That may be because police and prison funding is triple what it was back then, numbers adjusted for inflation. Does this mean we should "defund the police?" We recommended defunding the universities and the mob instead.
