Life In God's Family: A Gospel for Every Day

Who needs to hear the gospel? Most of us immediately think of unsaved neighbors, family members, or the lost in foreign lands; anyone who has not yet trusted in Christ as Savior. But you need to hear the gospel, too. So do I. So we must preach the gospel to ourselves. Every day. This is Paul’s heart as he encourages Christians in 1st century Crete. They’re to stand fast in truth, strengthen one another, and live hopeful, godly lives in a corrupt world because... “... the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared...” Titus 2:11 (NKJV) Jesus Christ is God’s epiphany. His coming, His indwelling presence, and the certainty of His return change everything. Christ has revealed God’s grace toward sinners. And He continues to mediate that grace as disciples live “down here” with eyes fixed on His return.
