The Enduring Obligation of Remembrance

Memorial Day is a time to remember those who've given their lives to help secure America's freedom. This remembrance naturally turns the minds of Christians to Jesus' self-sacrifice for the sake of ultimate liberation. But many have only a superficial understanding of who Jesus is, the mission for which the Father sent Him, and the ultimate outcome He has secured. All of that is bound up in His title, Jesus the Messiah, and this message examines Paul's exhortation to Timothy to continually hold Him in remembrance in this way.
