The Man Who Stood in the Gap - Anthony Comstock
998
There are men who push past popular opinion and take up the banner for truth and righteousness. Anthony Comstock was one of those men. His opponents included Margaret Sanger, Ida Craddock, Emma Goldman, and others of similar ilk. He was primarily responsible for the Comstock Act which limited the means of distribution of items such as contraception, pornography, and other items considered obscene. We interview Scott Dix on the show today about this man and his legacy which is also featured in the new, recently republished book entitled "Outlawed! How Anthony Comstock Fought and Won the Purity of a Nation."
