Data Collection & Common Core

During the first segment of the program today I will speak with Daniel James Devine (reporter for WORLD Magazine) about the massive US data collection program revealed recently by former CIA employee Edward Snowden. The leak revealed information about a program called PRISM, which is used by the National Security Agency to secretly obtain emails, documents, audio and video files from major internet companies.

During the second segment of the program I will speak with Linsey Burke, who researches and writes on federal and state education issues for the Heritage Foundation, about the problems associated with the proposed Common Core educational standards
