Seeing the power of Christ

Jesus Christ stills a terrible storm which threatens to overwhelm the boat in which He and His disciples are travelling. They react to the storm with great fear, and to His power over nature with equal amazement.

Have we seen and understood who Jesus Christ really is? The disciples took the Lord, weary and worn, into the boat, where He slept - because He was truly a man. They took Him 'as He was'. Then they saw Him 'as He is' - Almighty God. Have we? What will keep us safe and secure from the storms of life? What power do we trust to bring us to journey's end? Only our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ will do!
