Be Rooted In Christ Alone

From Colossians 2:1-10, this past Lord’s Day morning, we were admonished by the apostle Paul to be rooted in Christ alone, not in any worldly philosophy. He told us to be encouraged and provided the three tools that God will use to encourage our hearts: (1) being knitted together in love, (2) attaining the riches of the full assurance of God’s election and forgiveness toward us and the knowledge of the mystery of God and Christ and (3) having, in God, all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. We are to be rooted in Christ alone, established in the truth and abound in thanksgiving.
