Bear the Infirmities of the Weak

Strong Christians have a great responsibility within the body of Christ. While at times those who are more mature in the faith, doctrine and practice of the New Testament Church may feel the urge to immediately correct every error and misunderstanding they find in their weaker brothers and sisters, the bible admonishes them to "bear the infirmities of the weak." The body is better served by coming alongside the weak and bearing with their imperfections with a loving example that exercises patience - rather than insisting upon a spiritual maturity that may have taken the strong a lifetime to acquire.
