The Scattered Scattering
Series Ind. Fund. Bible Conf. (Acts)
In this brand new series, preached at the April 2006 Independent Fundamental Bible Conference in Middletown, Conn., Dr. John Whitcomb opens the book of Acts -- the first New Testament book he has ever taught through. “Stephen began to preach the Word of God with such power that his fellow Greek-speaking Jews decided to eliminate him,” says Dr. Whitcomb. He explains, however, how this tragedy was used of God to spread the Word of the Lord even further. “God has never yet made a mistake with his people – ever, nor ever shall.” Listen as Dr. Whitcomb explains new insights from this book, which is so needed in the 21st-century church. In fact, he prays these words in this sermon: “Thank you Lord for giving us amazing insights here that are inspired and infallible and precious, and obviously, in the mind of God, sufficient for us at this time in our church experiences to give us a model, a guide, as to God's will and purpose for the church, today.”
