Our Greatest Threat

This message was preached on a Sunday night over ten years ago, but I believe that it is more relevant today than ever.

The building of the Tower of Babel was a continuation of the act of defiance begun in the Garden of Eden. It continues on throughout history in the attempts of rulers to create paradise on earth without God.

The flow of history is sweeping us toward an ultimate manifestation of this attempt. A global economy demands global law, and global law demands a global government to enforce it.

Religion must be pressed into this global mission, but biblical Christianity with its ultimate allegiance to God and its proclamation that no one can come to the Father but through Jesus Christ must expect to be viewed as an enemy of this emerging transnational state.
