A vow of poverty.
It does not come naturally.
It is not being poor spirited.What “Poor in Spirit” is:
Spiritual poverty
-Penes-A person for whom life is a struggle.
-Ptochos-Absolute poverty, being destitute, bankrupt.

Brokenness and a contrite heart.
“The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone. Everyone who falls on that
stone will be broken to pieces, but he on whom it falls will be crushed.” (Luke 20:17-18)
Humilty (Philippians 2:5-9)

'Without me you can do nothing” (John 15:5)
What is the reward for the “Poor in Spirit”? “The kingdom of heaven”

Which impresses you most: What you've committed or what you've surrendered?
Have you lost sight of God's grace?
Are you willing to serve anyone, anywhere, anytime?
Is God free to interfere in your life?
