SUMMARY: Although the Lord’s people may be tempted by the world, and the world’s people may be attracted to the Lord, the two are mutual enemies and cannot be reconciled, as is seen in the two character studies of a man of God tempted by the world, and a worldly old prophet overcome by the world.
