Noah

We noted that considerable truth is hidden by God and only selectively and often cryptically revealed. Paul saw his ministry as a revealing of mysteries hidden in ages past. Why is the so? It is because God wants His people to trust Him and walk by faith.

Noah was just such a man. He was upright in his generation and pure in his genetics. God called him to save his family by building an ark to escape a yet unseen threat.

Noah's example is used to illustrate Hebrews 11:6. No one can please God until he accepts Him as He has revealed Himself in the Word of God. But that is not all, one must seek God wholeheartedly, earnestly, and persistently as ones whole satisfying portion.
