This series is an expository study of I Samuel. We conclude this chapter exploring the spiritual truth that we, as David, are used of God to conquer giant enemies of God's truth. Verse 40 makes for a good preaching text: lively stones (i.e. saved) are smooth (i.e. sanctified) and sent (i.e. serving).
