In the New Year, here's a critical verse to consider - "Above all else guard your heart..." Prov. 4:23
David was "A man after God's own heart."
Though David had many wives and concubines, he really was a man to follow.
We don't make New Year's resolutions, not resolutions, but repentance.
The Lord restores my soul.
In need of Restoration.
David was reminded not only of who he is, but of who God is as he stands in God's presence. This drove David to cry out for restoration.
Only the Lord can clean us up from all unrighteousness.
