[06/11/2023 PM] - "Wholly Ascribed to God" - 1 Peter 2:4-12

1 Peter 2.9, 10 with help from Canons of Dort 3/4.10, teaching us that salvation is wholly ascribed to God alone. We do not come to saving faith by "doing our part" after God "did His part." NO!! Salvation is entirely, totally, and completely His doing. Once again, this is a truth the church today really needs to be reminded of.

1. It is a gross error to set some above others

2. It is the elect who will obey the call of the gospel

3. But prior to that call they were in darkness

4. So that the freed ones will glory in the Lord!
