Honour One Another

Here is a 'one another' command that is so easily overlooked and undervalued. The appeal to 'honour one another' is not only grounded in the truth that each one has been made in the image of God but also in the way honouring takes place in the very life of the Triune God.
So much of the anguish and pain of this world is the result of fallen humanity's craving for its own glory at the expense of those who appear to be in our way. When we honour others as Christ did, we may be surprised at the benefit and blessing it brings to the Body of Christ and the joy we experience as we recognize and affirm the value of the 'least of these my brothers'.
