Divine Deliverance

How do you react when you face a “fiery trial” (1 Pet. 4:12)?
You will see a wonderful example of how the believer should respond on this week’s edition of “Encounter God’s Truth” with author and Bible teacher Dr. John Whitcomb.
We left off with the words of Daniel’s three friends—Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego—to Nebuchadnezzar, when he had threatened to cast them into a fiery furnace. Dr. Whitcomb will finish his exposition of this powerful Old Testament account on today’s program. Our study is entitled, “Divine Deliverance.”
Later, host Wayne Shepherd asks Dr. Whitcomb if there is a parallel between the experiences of these three men in the fiery furnace and that which the nation of Israel will endure during the future Tribulation.
