Sola Spiritus

When Jesus spoke to Nicodemus saying, "You must be born again," he was referring to the sovereign work of the Spirit, alone. In other words, Jesus was introducing to Israel his teaching of "Sola Spiritus" (Spirit Alone), to use Reformation terminology. Still, today, 500 years after the Reformation, most Christians profess to be trinitarian, but are in fact, experientially, and in practice, Binitarian. What's worse, many have redefined the Trinity as "Father, Son, and Holy Bible." This sermon is a call to recover the essential practice of living truly Trinitarian lives, in the fellowship of the Spirit.
