Sermon Text: Ephesians 5:15-20
The Christian life can be gloriously full!

THREE ASPECTS OF THIS FULLNESS

1. The Command to be Filled with the Holy Spirit v. 16-18
   Command: imperative mood

2. The Command to Sing v. 19

*Psalms: from the Book of Psalms: Hebrew poetry. Jesus quotes the
Psalms more than any other scripture.

*Hymns: Festive lyric verses (Greek styled songs about heros/and gods) now being used to praise Father, Jesus Christ, Holy Spirit. e.g. Ephesians 4:4-6

*Spiritual Songs: (Exodus) Song of Moses, Song of Miriam, (Luke 1) Song of Zachariah, Song of Mary, (Luke 2) Song of Simeon… ETC.
