Author and lecturer Dr. John Whitcomb calls Moses, “One of the greatest servants that God has ever called, equipped, prepared in the history of the world.” In this message, he compares Moses and Christ regarding: the circumstances of their births, their early lives, their callings, their fastings, their miracles, their glorious experiences on mountaintops, their meekness, their rejections, their places as lawgivers, their abilities as teachers, and their places as judges, redeemers, mediators, intercessors, leaders and kings; and then also contrasts them in their roles, miracles and relation to the Law. Dr. Whitcomb explains many things about the Tabernacle, which may have been the greatest work that God really called Moses to undertake – even greater than leading the people across the Red Sea. He also details Moses' future role as one of the two witnesses to lead Israel during the coming Great Tribulation. The message ends with a Q&A session, including questions about the identity of the man of sin; the revelation of the anti-christ; the judgments after the tribulation; the purpose of millennial sacrifices; and Moses' use of signs before Pharaoh and the Israelites.
