1. God's covenant with sinners is unchangeable v15. Covenant with Abraham distinct from the moral and ceremonial law - continues to stand in the NT.
2. God's covenant with sinners was always in Christ v17. The covenant with Abraham is the covenant 'of God in Christ.' It contained all the substance of the gospel of grace, Gal 3:8
3. The promises to the children were in Christ v16. All the promises to the many located in the one, Christ.
4. The heirs of the promise are a continuous body, Gal 3:29-4:6. One body of people called 'heirs of promise' considered in two stages of development.
5. No blessings of salvation are promised apart from Christ.
