The Binding Of Satan

In Rev. 20 we learn that an angel will bind Satan and cast him into the bottomless pit and shut up in so he will deceive the nations no more. Several questions are probably in your mind as you read this:

Is this literal or symbolic language?

Who is the angel?

What is the key?

What is the chain?

What is the bottomless pit?

What does it mean to bind Satan?

Is this something that is to come, or has it already been fulfilled, or is it being fulfilled now?
