The Mosaic Covenant #7

In Romans chapter 11 Paul asks the question, 'has God cast away His people which He foreknew?' and he answers with an emphatic 'certainly not!' The first proof of that assertion is answered by the Holy Spirit in verses 1-10, which we considered last week. God's rejection of Israel is not total, for there remains a remnant of believing Jews according to the election of grace even to the present day. Yet in verses 11-26 Paul gives a second proof: Israel's rejection is not final. In this message we see something of what God has in store for His chosen people, and we find as well a warning given to us, that we must both fear and persevere in the goodness of God, lest we be broken off as were the apostate Jews of old.
