2 Corithians is the testimony of the character and ministry of a man who walked in victory with the Lord Jesus Christ.It is a Biblical portrait of Christian Living.It is a tremendous motivation for our lives.This is the 'life testimony' of a human being who followed the Lord faithuflly,in the power of the Holy Spirit.This book is Paul's defense of his character and ministry before the church at Corinth. Paul had poured 18 months of his labor and prayers into the birthing of this church.However,in his absence,false teachers had slithered into this infant church, preaching another gospel;another Jesus. These'pseudo apostles' were seeking to steal the position of authority from the beloved apostle. They purposed to accomplish this by attacking Pauls' character and assaulting his ministry, behind his back. Their teaching had created a mutiny in the church against their founder and father in the faith. Throughout this epistle, Paul must defend his character and ministry; but at the same time,give no impression of pride or arrogrance. By the Spirit and grace of God, he accomplishes this goal.
