The Secret of True Happiness

This is the introduction of the greatest sermon that was every preached, by the greatest man who ever lived, "The God-Man", the Lord Jesus Christ. This is an evangelistic sermon, in which Ed includes his personal testimony of conversion, from the life-style of a rock and jazz musician. What takes place when a person is having a 'saving encounter' with the Lord Jesus? What occurs when a person is being truly converted to the Lord Jesus Christ? Ed explains that when the Holy Spirit is birthing a person into the Kingdom of God, that sinner begins to see the reality of their spiritual destitution; they experience a holy mourning that produces repentance, because they see their sin is against God. The Lord sweetly meeks their will, so that they are willing to come under 'guided control' of a new master. In the midst of this conversion miracle, the Holy Spirit plants an insatiable appetite in their soul, for something that they do not have, but desperately need, Righteousness. They cast their life on the mercy of God and place their confidence in the work of Jesus alone, to impute the wrath for their sin to His account; and impute the perfect righteousness of the Lord Jesus to their account.
