The First Woe

Destruction through internal corruption and moral erosion. This is what the 5th Trumpet, the 1st Woe brings as Christ reigns down covenant cursing upon those who would rather have the company of demons than the freedom that Christ brings. It is one or the other, and the promise of enmity means that you are either of the Seed or of the Serpent, and this enmity means that there will be an enduring battle until the end of the age, between the Righteous One, and His children, and the Devil and those who reject the Messiah. This battle is real, and though it is between unseen principates and powers, its battleground is found to the the souls of men and their various government and corporations. Here in the 5th Trumpet Christ unleashes demons upon the once-great-city, and the result is nothing short of shocking, disgusting, and what happens when you blaspheme the Holy Spirit.
