The Times of the Gentiles

The Future in a dream…

Can I give you a little helpful tip of wisdom? For it to work, you'll need to put yourself in King Nebuchadnezzar's shoes. That's somewhat of a challenge, I know. But will you work with me and attempt it anyway?

Now l need to be a little more specific about what I'm asking you to do. I'm really more concerned about the dream he had. It was a dream he had no clue about, other than what God showed him while he slept. It was troubling to him... to the point it messed with his sleep pattern.

Now keep in mind, this was all the work of God. The timing of the dream and the favor He had placed on Daniel to reveal the message of God to this powerful, yet limited king, was not by accident. The future of humanity may have been seen in a dream, but it was spoken and brought to light through the mouth a servant of God.

Take what Daniel shares about the the king's dream and let it sink in your mind. Ponder it... and mull it over, as if it was planted in your mind, as it was his. Now let the interpretation of Nebuchadnezzar's nightmare and inevitable fall from his own glory become a personal vision of your future. And if by chance you can't see your own personal kingdom and limited dominion on this earth crumbling, before the everlasting kingdom of Jesus, you'll be an even bigger fool than this young king. Don't ever think, for one second, that what God made known, about an unknown future, was given for just one fool. Not at all... this swiping blow and staggering glimpse into everyone's future, was unveiled that the rest us might gaze upon what is yet to come... that we might become a fool for Jesus.
