In this letter to the church at Philadelphia, Jesus has no words of condemnation, only commendation. This church his kept Jesus' word and never denied His name. They are small, without great power, yet Jesus commends them for their works and promises to keep them from the hour of trial that is coming on the whole world and an eternal place with God.
