Warnings: Final Words (part 2)

One of the seven angels [connected with the seven bowls of judgment] continues to talk with John. This final message began in 21:9, including quotes from Jesus Christ Himself. The angel's words are faithful and true because they come from God the Son (3:14; 19:11; 21:5). Three times in this two-part closing message Jesus declares that when He comes it will be swift/hasty and expeditious/efficient (22:7,12,20). This last part, verses 16-21, appropriately close the book with a focus on Jesus Christ - the One who is deserving in His credentials, demanding in His requirements and dividing in His accountability. He alone is the rightful heir of planet earth, the gracious redeemer of thirsty sinners and the righteous judge of all prophetic truth. This Revelation tells us to recognize Him, receive Him and revere Him forever and ever!
