Leviticus (pt. 12)

8

Pastor Brewer discusses Leviticus' 14th chapter as showing believers the cleansing power of God's transformative grace. The disease called leprosy in OT times is representative of both internal and external impurity in a person. Its presence caused one to be forced outside the camp, the camp being symbolic of God's favor. Purification and cleanliness are initiated by God; the end result of that process is a believer worthy of standing in the presence of the Lord as a member of the priesthood of all believers.
