The Book That Matters

One of the oldest sayings about the Bible that should be essential to all of us is that "The Bible will keep you from sin, or sin will keep you from the Bible." I believe this saying remains true even today. Because as Christians, if we are not being transformed by Christ through God's Word, we might be conforming to the world. If we don't allow the Word of God to shape us into the persons God intends us to be, the world will squeeze each of us into its mold. We will be tossed back and forth by every wind of doctrine that comes our way. That is why at Southside Bible Fellowship, we believe since the Bible is God's Word and we are God's children, then the Bible is God's Word for us.
