Things Most Precious

This has been a week of challenges for me; the physical limitations I am dealing with restrict me in an unaccustomed way. Several people I know have died this week including one of my best friends. I consider the promises and assurances that are given to us in the word of God and to be blessed by its comforting words. Peter was a rough fisherman who had been called to serve the Lord Jesus Christ; he failed often and stumbled frequently but he grasped certain precious truths that were a blessing to him and his Christian friends.
