Come, My People

There is a recurring theme in Scripture that the Lord will provide a refuge for His people in times of judgment. Our text invites His people to enter that refuge and shut the door until His fury has passed.

Noah took refuge in the ark in the midst of the judgment of the flood. God secured him and his family behind the shut door.

Israel escaped the death angel in Egypt in their chambers behind a shut door marked by the blood of the Passover lamb.
