The Death of the Wicked

Many rejoiced over the death of Osama Bin Laden. We can understand that many might be relieved and feel that justice has been done - but is it right to take pleasure in the death of the wicked? Contrary to what many anti-Christian writers claim today, the Lord God takes no pleasure at all in the death of the wicked - rather He pleads with all lost sinners to turn to Him. Have we seen ourselves as God sees us? Will we heed His gracious call and turn to Him to find eternal life?
