323
  1. Context of Daniel 9

  2. Dispensational View of Daniel 9:24-27

  • Quote from J.Randall Price, "Seventy Weeks of Daniel in Dispensational Interpretation."
  • Quote from Schofield Reference Bible.
  1. The 70 Weeks are Continuous

I. Time measurement allows no gaps.

II. The context of Jeremiah's prophecy allows no gap.

III. The passage itself allows no gaps.

  1. The 70 Weeks are fulfilled by Christ and Redemption Accomplished.

I. Dispensational view of v.24.

II. Christ has accomplished and fulfilled v.24.
NT shows that v.24 is all already fulfilled.
a. Atonement for sin (1 Jn 3:5; 2 Tim 1:10; Heb 9:26; 10:10; Col 1:21-22).
b. Provision of righteousness (Phil 3:9; Rom 8:4).
c. Fulfilling of vision and prophecy (2 Cor 1:20; Lk 24; Heb 1:1-2).
d. Anointing the Most Holy (Acts 10:38; Heb 9:12).

  1. Application
Redemption has been accomplished by Christ, but must be applied to individual sinner.
  • Incentives to faith and warrants to believe.
  • Encouragements and reasons for assurance of faith.
